Pre Marriage Courses

The Esker Pre Marriage Course is probably in the premiership of marriage preparation. This  is a residential weekend beginning on the Friday evening at 8pm, and ending at lunchtime on Sunday. It is conducted by married couples, and gives the couple an opportunity to examine all aspects of their relationship in a caring and understanding environment. At a time when it is probably more difficult than in the past to sustain a life-giving relationship, this weekend is strongly recommended for those who wish to make a success of their marriage.

(Note to Priests: The Esker Marriage Preparation Course is an approved course for couples: it has been approved by the Bishop of Clonfert, in 2014. It is the policy of the Irish Episcopal Conference that particular marriage preparation courses receive Catholic Church approval from the Ordinary in whose diocese they occur.)

It focuses on the couple relationship and provides a framework for healthy communication and growth to build a strong marriage.
